The chart below is an excerpt from the AirTest CO2 Energy Analysis Program. It reflects data very recently collected in a brand new portable classroom and processed by the well-accepted AirTest Energy Analysis Program to analyze the benefits of using CO2 controlled ventilation in a building with fixed ventilation in south Florida. The testing was performed in a new portable classroom with energy recovery ventilation and the latest HVAC technology available from the manufacturer. The building was not commissioned by a third party, and it was assumed that the manufacturer had set up all systems to operate optimally. The data tells an important and very different story. Your attention is invited to the bottom line reflecting the energy savings in kilowatt hours that will result in this particular classroom by converting to CO2 controlled ventilation alone. Other modifications will yield further, substantial savings that are not reflected in this calculation. The next page will reflect the dollar savings by converting to CO2 controlled ventilation in this particular classroom.

You will note that CO2 controlled ventilation reduces the annual energy cost per square foot from $7.72 to only $1.19 per square foot in this particular classroom. We believe that most of the other classrooms installed at this location will have similar results. We can provide comprehensive testing and analysis of portable and permanent classrooms for a very reasonable fee. Testing usually takes five days with an additional day required for analysis of the data.
